Power Push Plowing · Commercial accounts only

What affects commercial snow removal cost?

Power Push does not publish a flat commercial rate because the work depends on the property and the agreed scope. Use these cost factors to prepare for an Orange County site review and compare proposals without guessing what is included.

Cleared area is only the starting point.

The size of the parking lot matters, but layout changes the work too. Narrow access lanes, multiple entrances, tight turning areas, parked vehicles and loading docks can affect how a site is cleared. Share the area that actually requires service, not only the total size of the parcel.

Sidewalks, steps and pedestrian crossings should be identified separately. A proposal for parking lot plowing alone should not be compared directly with one that includes building approaches and common walkways. Ask each contractor to identify the same surfaces.

Operating hours shape the service scope.

A warehouse with overnight deliveries, a shopping center and an appointment-based office have different access priorities. Explain when employees arrive, when customers enter and whether the site stays open through weather events.

Repeat clearing during a long event or return visits after vehicles move may affect the scope and price. Ask how those situations are treated in the agreement. Do not assume a single visit or an unrestricted number of visits without checking the proposal.

Separate ice treatment and snow storage.

Ask whether deicing is included, charged by application or handled under another agreed arrangement. Known refreeze areas and frequently used pedestrian routes help the contractor understand treatment needs. Material and application charges should be clear in the proposal.

Limited on-site snow storage can create additional work as accumulation builds. Clarify what is included for snow placement and what would require separate approval. Off-site hauling should not be assumed to be part of a standard parking lot quote.

Compare equivalent proposals.

Put competing quotes side by side using the same surfaces, service triggers, operating priorities and contract period. Check exclusions, extra-service charges and payment terms before deciding which proposal fits your property.

Published prices from another contractor or town are not Power Push rates. A small business lot and a large managed complex cannot be priced reliably from the town name alone. Request a site-specific quote instead of treating an online average as an offer.

Can I get a firm price from the website?

A firm quote requires review of your commercial property and the proposed service scope. Submit the property details or call 845-764-0536 to discuss a site walk. No rate or discount amount is promised before that review.
